Heavenly Father, creator of all things… thank you for having entrusted us with such a loyal friend. Thank you for letting Buddy teach us unconditional love. Thank you for all the wonderful memories of him playing ball, his cute little walk, stealing the cat’s food, and the hearts he warmed with that big doggy smile of his. We know we can look back on the memories to brighten our days. In gratitude we return our cherished companion to you. We will one day meet our little Buddy again at the rainbow bridge. Amen
