“Not the least hard thing to bear when they go from us, these quiet friends, is that they carry away with them so many years of our own lives.” —John Galsworthy
Shredder, Dad wanted you to have a “tough” name, but as time went on to find that you were the sweetest of sweet.💕 You had more licks, nose rubs and tail waggin’ in you than bite.
After we moved to Minnesota we got you! Miles and I were nervous to start at a new school, but when we came home after being the “new kid” all day, we got to play with you and we forgot all about being the “new kid”. Then we moved back to Montana and you did too! And we were back to being the “new kid”, but we figured it out again.
From the times we tobogganed down the hill, and you followed with your tongue hanging out, tail wagging and ripping our boots off our feet to barking at us on snowmobiles, four wheelers, anything that moved and of course, endless tug-a-wars and jumping on the trampoline. Making friends with every customer of Mom and Dad’s & greeting the Napa guys just to steal treats. But, not to be forgotten, the many weekly trips to Petco to pick out your very own treats.
We kept you busy as you grew, but you kept us busier always playing. Sure, you grew old as we did too, and the games seem to slow until there were none at all, just loves and kisses to the very end. I hope you and your heart of gold have everything you’ve ever wanted in doggie heaven. Almost 13 years of memories & we’ll never forget one. 💙
Rest In Peace beautiful boy, you’re missed so much and were such a big part of our lives.
