Svetlana was a very big part of our lives. For such a small creature to create such a magnitude of great love and joy into our lives is something I wish we had not lost. We were given the bird without much information on his age or anything really. So, getting him used to us took only but a moment and it became clear that Svetlana only cared for kids. He loved the kids, he played with them, danced and sang with them, he even chased them through the house! I cannot explain the number of laughs and joy he brought my kids and myself. He may barely have tolerated me, but I loved him for loving my kids and making them so happy. Losing him was like losing one of the family and he will forever hold a special place in our hearts. He was a magnificent fit for our chaos. The boys especially will miss him so much, especially my oldest who was closest to him. He was loved by all of us. What an amazing bird. It was an honor to be your family, Svetlana. Fly high, pretty bird.
