Ray crossed the rainbow bridge and passed peacefully in the arms of his beloved owner on October 3, 2024 at the age of 21. Born August 1, 2003, he was rescued from a grass field with his litter mates in Spokane and was adopted from the Spokane Humane Society in October 2003. Ray was the ultimate fighter having overcoming hyperthyroidism via radiation treatment in January 2021. Diagnosed with bladder cancer in July of 2023, he was only given a prognosis of 3 months while making it 15 months past his diagnosis.
He loved spending time out in the sun munching on grass and hanging out with his best friend George, a shepherd mix adopted from Stafford Animal Shelter.
Run wild and free Ray kitty. You were such an amazing companion. You had an incredible run and will be missed forever.
